Product Review! Radox Spa Soothe

My first product review on this blog!

To be honest this isn't the most exciting product to review. However I had to start somewhere, so I'm reviewing the latest bubble bath I've used...

♥ Radox Spa Soothe Bath Soak ♥

What? A bubble bath with neroli oil fig and milk

How much? £2.29 for 500ml

Where from? I bought it from Boots using my points - a gift from Boots I suppose!

Opinion?

Well, I've used this three times now in my bath and I do really like it. The first couple of times I didn't pour in very much while the tap was running, though it still gave a nice blanket of bubbles. The third time however, I poured in quite a lot without realising (maybe 1/8 of the bottle!) and I got lots and lots of bubbles that stayed for my entire bath. So the bubble factor is quite good, compared to some which just disappear after a few minutes.

The scent is lovely - quite fruity, feminine and relaxing - and did linger on my skin for a little time but not overpowering.

The packaging claims the bath soak will moisturise your skin which I would say is true. I didn't use any other moisturiser after the bath, and my skin didn't feel dry, so I guess it did. (plus, my bath was very hot!)

Pros? Cheap+lovely smell+makes lots of bubbles

Cons? Contains some ugly chemicals-no BUAV approval

Final thoughts? I would be happy to repurchase. I love having hot baths in the winter so am getting through a fair amount of bubble bath. My current favourite is still S&G - Calm One Calm All. However that one costs £6.00 for the same amount, so if I can't buy it on offer, I would most likely reach for this one again. I might also try the others in the range - Condition Bath Soak and Rejuvinate Bath Soak - they probably smell wonderful too!

So finally, enjoy a picture of my bath. I was just experimenting really... the lens was too long, and the lighting was poor... but never mind, hopefully you can still see the mountains of bubbles,

H
